As the daughter of an engineer (Electrical), wife of an engineer (Chemical) and mother of two engineers (Mechanical & Chemical) the school system should be concerned with "smarting up" (i.e., make more challenging) instead of "dumbing down" math and science. What people should be looking at is who benefits (finicially) from this new program?
